With a tracking round completed, it is useful to know how to easily award epraise rewards for superb effort and attainment.  These can be accompanied by letters home if you decide to write these.  Suggestions are given below on when to award:

  • Progress Award Accolade
  • Attitude to Learning 1 Accolades
  • Attitude to Learning 2 Accolades
  • Attitude to Learning Achievements

 

 

Progress Award Accolade 

 

 

 

At KS3, it is suggested to award Progress Award Accolades to all students with either no or, at most, one “Below Expectation” subject.  These students can be found on the KS3 DoL Monster by filtering on the Progress Analysis columns.  You may decide that other students should also receive it for great improvement.

 

At KS4, it is suggested to award Progress Award Accolades to all students with either no, one or, at most, two subjects “Below iTarget” (set to PiXL3).  These students can be found on the KS4 DoL Monster by filtering on the Progress Analysis columns.  You may decide that other students should also receive it for great improvement.

 

Progress Award Accolades are awarded in epraise in the same way you award housepoints:

  • Groups à Year groups and select year group
  • Bulk à Accolades

At KS3 and KS4, it is suggested to award AtL1 Accolades to all students with all positive AtL1 scores (E or M).  These students can be found on the KS3 and KS4 DoL Monsters by filtering on the AtL1 Analysis columns.  You may decide that other students should also receive it for great improvement.

 

At KS3 and KS4, it is suggested to award AtL2 Accolades to all students with all positive AtL2 scores (E or M).  These students can be found on the KS3 and KS4 DoL Monsters by filtering on the AtL2 Analysis columns.  You may decide that other students should also receive it for great improvement.

 

AtL1 and AtL2 Accolades are awarded in epraise in the same way you award housepoints:

  • Groups à Year groups and select year group
  • Bulk à Accolades

Attitude to Learning Achievements

 

 

At KS3 and KS4, Attitude to Learning Achievements are awarded to students with:

At least 8 AtL scores

AND   At least two thirds of AtL1 scores as E or M

AND   At least two thirds of AtL2 scores as E or M

AND   No red AtL1 or AtL2 scores

 

The requirements to receive the Attitude to Learning Achievement are less strict that the suggestion for AtL1 and AtL2 Accolades above.

 

Students due to receive the Attitude to Learning Achievement are indicated in the Achievement column of the DoL Monster, located after the AtL1 and AtL2 Analysis.

 

Attitude to Learning Achievements will be awarded automatically after each tracking round.
